About this course
Are you interested in making great wine? This course will give you the skills to grow quality grapes, manage vineyards and understand the winemaking process.
You’ll learn how to:
- plant, care for and harvest vines
- understand irrigation, soil health and pest control
- follow winemaking basics, including fermentation and aging
- apply eco-friendly farming techniques.
This course also covers the business side of running a vineyard, selling wine and working in the industry.
It will prepare you for roles like:
- vineyard manager
- viticulture technician
- cellar door operator
- winemaker.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
