About this course

Do you work in mining and want to advance your career to manage open cut mines or quarries? This advanced course will allow you to develop important management skills in the industry.

You will learn how to:

create and follow safety management plans
lead and organise work teams
direct various tasks in the resources sector
solve problems and make decisions in a mining environment.

After completing this course, you will be able to work as a mine manager, quarry manager, or in other supervisory roles in the mining industry.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
