Do you want to work as a graphic designer? This course will give you the skills and knowledge to produce a wide range of visual communications. You will learn the creative and technical skills you need to launch your career in graphic design.

In this training you will learn how to:

  • creatively generate design solutions
  • create graphics and typography
  • source images and refine drawings
  • design complex layouts
  • use industry-leading graphic design software.

You can also choose electives in areas that interest you, for example:

  • specialised drawing techniques
  • animation and digital visual effects
  • establishing and refining design briefs
  • digital simulations
  • illustration techniques
  • building websites
  • managing budgets.
  • Note that the availability of electives may vary depending on your selected training provider.

On completion of this training you could work as a graphic designer in an advertising agency, graphic design studio, or in-house design department. You could also work as a freelancer, sourcing your own clients.
