Do you work in the financial services industry? This course will give you advanced knowledge and skills to help you progress your accounting career.
During this course you will learn how to manage payroll, prepare financial reports and manage budgets and forecasts.
You can choose elective subjects in areas that interest you, for example:
- financial statistics
- financial forecasts and projections
- salary packaging
- payroll
- ethical frameworks and decision-making.
Note that the availability of electives may vary depending on your selected training provider.
This course will qualify you for roles including accounts clerk, assistant accountant and finance sector supervisor. You may also choose to complete further study, such as an Advanced Diploma or Graduate Certificate.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
Licensing and regulatory information
On completion of the course you will be eligible to apply for membership with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB).
