About this course
If you’re a young person or school leaver looking to enter the transport and logistics industry, this skill set will get you work-ready. You'll do a mix of class-based learning and practical training, including work placement.

- vehicle inspections
- using and maintaining minor mechanical equipment
- using manual handling methods to shift materials safely
- basic workplace calculations
- securing, loading and unloading cargo
- using workplace technology
- safe work practices
- introduction to vehicle and forklift licences
- investigating employment opportunities in the transport and logistics industry.
