Do you want to support families in a safe and respectful way? This course teaches you understand how to recognise and respond to family violence situations. It is designed for people who work in areas like health, education, community services, or customer support.
In this course you will learn about:
- the effects of family violence
- the signs of people who might be at risk
- what to say and how to listen
- how to respond safely and respectfully
- where to refer people for help and support
- what your responsibilities are at work.
You will get to practise how to stay calm and supportive in real life situations. You will also learn how to keep yourself safe and show how to care and offer appropriate help.
