About this course

Are you passionate about furniture design? In this course is you will learn how to turn your ideas into real pieces of furniture. 

You will learn how to:

  • sketch and plan furniture designs
  • choose the right materials for each project
  • use tools and machines safely
  • build furniture that looks good and works well
  • work with clients and take feedback
  • manage small projects from start to finish.

You will also learn about style, comfort, and how furniture fits into different spaces. You will learn to make furniture with your own hands. You could build a chair, design a table, or even create a whole set of furniture. The training also includes sustainability and smart design.

You will spend time in workshops using real tools and materials. You will learn in the classroom, where you will explore design ideas and problem-solving.
