Are you working in food processing and want to advance your career? This course will give you knowledge and skills for a supervisory or middle management role.
You will develop specialist skills to:
- solve food production problems
- supervise the work of others
- apply quality control of food processing systems
- follow procedures to improve performance
- apply food safety requirements
- follow legislative and regulatory requirements.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

This course can be done as a traineeship. You’ll get technical knowledge through coursework and hands-on experience through paid work. On completion you will receive a nationally recognised qualification.

- an employer willing to sign a Commonwealth Government ‘Training Contract’ and support your learning at work.
