About this course
Are you interested in teaching English to people from different backgrounds? This course gives you the skills to teach English as a second language, both in Australia and overseas.
You’ll learn how to:
- plan and deliver English lessons for adult learners
- use simple teaching methods that work in real classrooms
- create engaging and useful learning activities
- help students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- give feedback and support to help learners grow.
This course is designed for beginners and you don’t need to have experience teaching in the past. You will get hands-on practice and learn how to manage a class with confidence.
By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to work as an English language teacher in community centres, private colleges, or international schools. You can also use your skills to travel and teach English abroad.
