About this course
Are you a pharmacy assistant looking to advance your career? This course will help develop your existing dispensary skills and knowledge.
This training will equip you with a variety of skills including:
- helping customers with prescriptions
- maintaining dispensary stock
- working within dispensary computer systems and claims
- using pharmacy practices for infection control
- helping to prepare dose administration aids
- supporting customers to choose the correct product for their symptoms.
You will also be able to choose from a wide selection of elective units, spread across 3 streams:
- health
- dispensary
- management.
Note that the availability of electives may vary depending on your selected training provider.
Upon completion of this course, you will be qualified to progress your career in the pharmacy sector in roles such as:
- dispensary technician
- dispensary assistant.
This course is for those who want to take on higher-level assistance and dispensary duties.
