Would you like to work in youth and family support and early intervention? Core skills covered in the course include: 

  • individual service planning and delivery
  • identifying and responding to children and young people at risk
  • promoting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander cultural safety
  • using communication to build relationships
  • maintaining safe environments for children and young people
  • working in trauma-informed care
  • legal, ethical and safe work practices.
