This course is about the science of fermented foods and drinks and includes skills like testing and processing.
You’ll learn how to check the ingredients and how to ferment:
- beer
- spirits
- miso
- vegetables
- meats.
You will learn how to make decisions to control the fermentation process, and how to instruct others.
You can specialise in one or more techniques and how to take new products to market.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
