About this course

This course teaches you the basics of working in film, TV and other media. It's a good starting point for a career in screen and media production, such as movies or websites. 

You will learn how to work on set, make videos and work with web design. The course is a mix of learning and doing, so you’ll get to practise your skills as you learn. 

When you finish the course, you could work in a variety of entry-level position. These may include:

  • editing assistant
  • assistant content creator
  • assistant sound technician
  • assistant audio visual technician
  • assistant radio producer
  • podcast producer
  • community radio producer
  • community radio presenter
  • junior animator
