About this course
Do you want to become qualified glazier? This course teaches you how to work with glass in homes, shops, and buildings.
You will learn how to:
- measure and cut glass for windows, doors, and screens
- install glass in homes and commercial buildings
- handle glass safely and store it properly
- read plans and follow job instructions
- use hand and power tools for glass work
- apply films and coatings to glass
- repair or replace broken glass.
You will also learn important safety skills, like working at heights and using scaffolding. First aid training is included too.
After you complete this course, you will be ready to work as a glazier, glass installer, or glass processor. You can also move into sales or estimating roles in the glass industry.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
