Certificate III in Fire Protection

About this course

Are you interested in a career in fire protection? This course can lead to becoming a fire sprinkler fitter tradesperson.

You will learn the skills needed to install, test, maintain and repair fire protection systems. You will also learn how to plan and design where fire sprinklers, hydrants and hose reels are placed to meet safety standards.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

This course must be done as an apprenticeship. You’ll get practical skills and experience in a specific trade or profession. On completion you will receive a nationally recognised qualification.

To do an apprenticeship you’ll need an employer willing to hire you as an apprentice.
