About this course

Are you looking for an interesting career working on all types of vehicles? This course will help you to develop specialised skills to install, repair and maintain automotive glass.

You will learn how to:

build customer relations
communicate in the automotive workplace
follow safety procedures
use and maintain tools and equipment
remove and install windscreens and other glass components
repair and clean glass surfaces.

This course leads to jobs such as:

automotive glazier
windscreen repair technician
vehicle glazing technician.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

This course must be done as an apprenticeship. You’ll get practical skills and experience in a specific trade or profession. On completion you will receive a nationally recognised qualification.

To do an apprenticeship you’ll need an employer willing to hire you as an apprentice.
