About this course

Do you dream of working with textiles and making clothing? This course focuses on the skills needed for jobs related to making textiles, clothes, and shoes.

You will learn how to:

make clothing and textiles
use your own decision-making and problem-solving skills
organise your workspace
communicate your ideas.

This course may lead to working for yourself or as part of a small or big company.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

This course can be done as an apprenticeship. You’ll get practical skills and experience in a specific trade or profession. On completion you will receive a nationally recognised qualification.

To do an apprenticeship you’ll need an employer willing to hire you as an apprentice.
