About this course
Do you want to build your workplace skills and confidence in different settings? This course supports people with intellectual disabilities to gain hands-on skills in a variety of workplaces.
You will build many important work skills including:
- looking for work
- how to use everyday technology
- basic literacy and numeracy
- teamwork and communication
- personal management.
This training includes several core units. You can also choose from electives that interest you, including:
- working effectively with others
- using food preparation equipment
- safe work practices.
After doing this course you will be more confident when searching for employment. You may also decide to go on to further studies.
