About this course
This course is for beginners who want to learn how to shear sheep. It covers the skills and knowledge required to shear at least 40 adult merino sheep or 50 adult crossbred sheep per day with acceptable quality.
This course may be able to be used towards an apprenticeship - talk to your course provider for more details.
This course will qualify you to be a beginner-level shearer.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
