About this course
Take the first step towards becoming a licensed plumber with this pre-apprenticeship course. The training is designed to build your confidence and understanding of various areas of the plumbing trade.
Skills you will learn include:
- performing calculations needed to complete your work
- producing technical drawings
- selecting and use the correct plumbing tools, materials and equipment
- selecting plumbing supplies needed to complete the job
- understanding guidelines for sustainability in the plumbing industry
- maintaining a safe working environment
- understanding first aid.
On completion of the course, possible employment outcomes include an apprenticeship in the plumbing or building industry.
This course is a pathway to the Certificate III in Plumbing.
