This course that teaches you the basics of making cabinets and working with wood. It's a great starting point if you're interested in a career in cabinet making or carpentry, and will help you get ready for an apprenticeship.

You will learn how to:

  • use different tools 
  • measure and calculate materials
  • join pieces of wood
  • apply different finishes. 

This course offers hands-on experience where you'll get to practise making actual furniture and cabinets.
