About this course

Do you enjoy telling stories, working with technology and bringing ideas to life? This advanced course will help to take your production, editing, screenwriting and digital media skills to the next level.

In this course, you will learn how screen and media projects are planned, created and produced. This includes:

video production
sound editing
script development
camera work
digital content
project coordination.

You will also build practical skills in working with others, meeting deadlines, and managing creative work from idea to final product.

This course also covers how to:

plan and produce screen or media projects
use camera, sound, lighting and editing equipment
develop stories, scripts or creative concepts
edit video and audio content
manage production schedules and workflows
work as part of a creative team
present content for different audiences and platforms.

Note: If you study this course with the Academy of Interactive Entertainment, it is a 2-year pathway program to undertake study in one of the following areas:
- 3D animation
- visual effects (VFX)
- filmmaking in a screen and media context.
Before enrolling, you’ll need to complete this dual Diploma:
- CUA51125 Diploma of Visual Arts AND
- CUA51020 Diploma of Screen and Media.
