About this course
Do you want to work as a myotherapist? This advanced training is for people who are already qualified in remedial massage and want to add myotherapy to their skill set.
In this course you will learn specialist myotherapy skills. These include:
- advanced physical, orthopaedic and neuro-dynamic assessment techniques and treatment planning strategies
- evidence based myotherapy treatment techniques
- functional anatomy and corrective exercise prescription
- research and evidence based analysis and application
- business development and legal compliance.
Techniques you’ll learn include:
- myofascial dry needling
- joint mobilisation
- cupping
- TENS.
Note that the availability of electives may vary depending on your selected training provider.
On completion of this training you will be able to work as a myotherapist in your own practice, or as a member of a health clinic.
