About this course

If you are looking to advance your knowledge in buying and selling property, then this course may be for you.

This course teaches you how to become an expert in the field of property transfer. You will learn about and the legal aspects of buying and selling property.

Conveyancers work many different areas including:

technical and managerial tasks
lead teams
complex legal and regulatory frameworks
solving complicated tasks and problems.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

Licensing and regulatory information

You’ll need a licence to work as a conveyancer in Victoria. Find out more about on the Consumer Affairs Victoria website - Conveyancers section or talk to your training provider.

This course can be done as a traineeship. You’ll get technical knowledge through coursework and hands-on experience through paid work. On completion you will receive a nationally recognised qualification.

To enrol as a trainee, you’ll need:
1. a job in a relevant workplace in the same field as your course, and
2. an employer willing to sign a Commonwealth Government ‘Training Contract’ and support your learning at work.
