A worker facing retrenchment may need to identify a new area of employment. Using the Occupation Explorer tool, they can explore over 500 occupations that are accessible through TAFE and training. They can also filter and sort through the occupations according to their specific needs.
A worker facing retrenchment might need to do some training to move into a new job. Once they decide on an area of study, they can search for relevant courses.
They can also compare offerings amongst a network of TAFEs and other training providers. They'll find information on fees, locations, when to apply, and more.
A worker facing retrenchment might be eligible for government-subsidised training. If they’re eligible, the government will contribute to the cost of their training.
