Banking, Finance and Related Fields is the study of planning, directing, organising and controlling financial activities and services. It includes the provision of insurance and investment services at the corporate and individual level.
The main purpose of this field of education is to develop an understanding of the theories and practice of financial planning and investment, the nature and operation of the Australian and international monetary and financial systems and markets, and the principles of insurance.
Students may be eligible for government-subsidised training. This is only offered by training providers who have a contract with the Victorian Government to deliver government-subsidised training.
If you're eligible, the government will contribute to the cost of the training.
