How do I become a Multimedia Designer in Victoria?

To work as a Multimedia Designer in Victoria, you'll need:
    • Diploma of Digital Media Technologies 
    Or 
    • Diploma of Digital and Interactive Games 
    Recommended 
    • A portfolio demonstrating your work 
    • An internship with an organisation relevant to your career interests (e.g an advertising agency, a website, etc) 
    • Software certification (e.g. Apple Certified Pro credential in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Certified Expert, etc)

  • Selects, specifies or recommends functional and aesthetic materials and media for publication, delivery or display
  • Details and documents the selected design for production
  • Supervises or carries out production in the chosen media
