Training providers are free to set their own course fees so training costs vary between courses and between training providers.
In general, the costs of training consist of:
Ask your training provider for a quote for all your training needs. You can negotiate the cost for training as you would negotiate any other quote.
Your training provider will also be able to advise you about any concessions or subsidies you might be eligible for.
Your employees may be eligible government-subsidised training. This is only offered by training providers who have a contract with the Victorian Government to deliver government-subsidised training.
If your employees are eligible, the government will contribute to the cost of training. You will probably need to pay for some of the tuition fees yourself, and there may also be other fees, such as for materials.
The eligibility of your employees will be determined by your training provider when you enrol, but you can use our
eligibility checker to get an indication of their eligibility.

eligibility criteria for government-subsidised training and see
subsidy levels for courses on the Department of Education and Training (DET) website.
