Vince Fragomeni, a mature-age client, had worked in the bakery industry for many years with no formal qualification.
When Vince decided to have his own business and manage staff, he felt that a qualification would be important. Vince met with a Skills Store Consultant and worked through Competency Navigator to align his work skills with Certificate III in Food Processing (Retail Baking).
Vince completed his recognition of prior learning (RPL) 100% and is now in a position to train apprentices should the need arise. He also appreciates having his extensive skills recognised by the RPL process, resulting in gaining a formal qualification.
