Microsoft Agreement
The Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board has entered into a three-year (01 Jan 2010 to 31 Dec 2012) agreement with Microsoft that provides licenses for a range of software for desktop and notebook computers and servers. The Agreement can be accessed (under varying terms and conditions) by Learn Local organisations and Adult Education Institutions.
The Microsoft Agreement means software covered under the Agreement can be purchased at a significant saving and without incurring additional licensing costs. Media used to install software still needs to be purchased.
These products are available through the Microsoft authorised Large Account Reseller (LAR) which the ACFE Board has an agreement with to supply and distribute the Microsoft products. The LAR is:
Insight Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd
Suite 4 Level 2
14 Queens Rd
Melbourne
VICTORIA 3004
Software licenses not covered by the Agreement are the responsibility of the Learn Local organisation. The terms and conditions governing the use of Microsoft software are specified in the ACFE Board's agreement with Microsoft. User rights are also detailed on Microsoft's Product Licensing website.
