Concessions on Tuition Fees
This information applies to students undertaking training courses. For information on university course fees, visit the Going to Uni website.
Arrangements for concessions are changing
For new course commencements from 1 July 2012 or for all commencements from 1 January 2013, see the How are the concessions changing? page on the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development website for information on the changes and how they may affect you.
Concessions on tuition fees are available for government-subsidised training places in all courses below Diploma level.
Students undertaking training in the Skills Deepening category may also be able to access financial assistance in the form of a loan, so they will not have to pay fees until they are employed and earning a certain level of income.
