With an engaging, enthusiastic and empathetic approach, Lauren uses her skills, training and experience to build a strong rapport with disadvantaged youth and families.

“Being awarded the Victorian Vocational Student of the Year has highlighted my commitment to the community services industry,” said Lauren.

“This award had also confirmed my capabilities, increased my drive for the future and further ignited my passion for not only my personal lifelong learning, but to advocate for ongoing accredited training for all employees in my industry.”

Lauren recommends the experience of the Victorian Training Awards to those thinking of applying.

“Just believe in your own abilities and take advantage of the journey and experiences associated with the Victorian Training Awards,” she said.

“It’s a rollercoaster ride of experiences and opportunities. You may feel a little overwhelmed whilst on the ride, but once you get off, the memories are ones you’ll treasure for a lifetime.”
