Victorian Students Win Prime Minister’s Awards

Congratulations to Victorian students Geoffrey Lewis, Billy McNeil and Anthony De Blasio, who have each been awarded a Prime Minister’s Award as part of the 2010 Australian Vocational Student Prize and Prime Minister’s Award for Skills Excellence in School.

Only 17 Prime Minister’s Awards were presented to the highest achieving students across Australia, which highlights the strength of Victoria’s thriving vocational education and training sector.

Victorian winners were Geoffrey Lewis from Mansfield Secondary College who received his award in the services industry group category; Billy McNeil from Monivae College in Hamilton who won his award in the electro-communications and energy utilities industry group category and Anthony De Blasio from Sandringham College who won his award in the Victoria state category.
