From time to time, Higher Education and Skills runs a variety of different events that encourage and promote new and existing training initiatives as well as highlighting outstanding achievements in training.
These events include competitions, awards ceremonies, advertising campaigns and public forums.
Victorian Training Awards
The Victorian Training Awards, now in their 58th year, promote and reward outstanding achievement and innovation in vocational education and training. They also acknowledge the strong partnerships between training providers and Victorian businesses which are vital to providing a strong skills base for Victoria.
Victorian Learn Local awards
The Victorian Learn Local Awards shine the spotlight on the outstanding achievements of people and organisations in Learn Local. This is an annual celebration that recognises the significant contributions made to the capacity, capability and productivity of the Victorian community.
