Events

From time to time, Skills Victoria runs a variety of different events that encourage and promote new and existing training initiatives as well as highlighting outstanding achievements in training.

These events include competitions, awards ceremonies, advertising campaigns and public forums.

Victoria’s Skills Ambassador Launch Event

Nova Skill Set Competition Concert

Galvatrons_ThumbMelbourne rock band, The Galvatrons, gave students at Fairhills High School a lunch hour to remember on Monday, 20 July 2009, as part of Nicole Conyers' prizes for winning the Nova Skill Set competition.

Victorian Training Awards

The Victorian Training Awards are one of the ways the Victorian Government rewards outstanding achievements and innovations in vocational education and training. The Awards recognise the valuable contribution of apprentices, trainees, students, teachers, employers, training providers and industry in building a world-class vocational education and training system in Victoria.

Congratulations to the 2009 winners!

Winners of the 2009 Victorian Training Awards were announced on 20 August 2009 at a Presentation Ceremony at the Palladium at Crown.
