There are a range of resources available to assist vocational education and training (VET) teachers and trainers.


Training Support Network

The Training Support Network (TSN) website provides free support to teachers and trainers to assist in the implementation of training packages and curriculum in Victoria. The website includes:

  • Training Package Purchasing Guides
  • Victorian course or curriculum documents
  • advice on delivery and assessment strategies to assist the implementation of training packages and Crown Copyright Curriculum
  • a skills recognition tool for nine qualifications
  • access to a training and occupational licensing matrix that assists identifying licences required in Victoria and training that is acknowledged as meeting the requirements of the licence
  • information about Curriculum Maintenance Managers (CMMs) and access to their newsletters

TAFE Virtual Campus

The TAFE Virtual Campus (TAFE VC) is an established state-funded virtual learning platform offering a range of eLearning products and services to a diverse group of teachers, students and organisations. Skills Victoria has contracted out the operational management of TAFE VC to eWorks which is a business arm of Kangan Batman Institute of TAFE. eWorks manages various state and national eLearning responsibilities on behalf of Skills Victoria, including the TAFE VC.

'VET Way to Go' teaching and learning resources

The vocational education and training (VET or VE&T) 'Way to Go' campaign was conducted by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development on behalf of the Office of Training and Tertiary Education, the former name of Skills Victoria.

Resources were developed to promote TAFE to young people aged 12-25 and improve community awareness of the range of pathway options available to young people through VET.
